Product Information:

ICH Test Chambers are specialized environmental chambers designed for use in the pharmaceutical, biotechnology, and life sciences industries to perform stability testing in accordance with the guidelines established by the International Council for Harmonisation of Technical Requirements for Pharmaceuticals for Human Use (ICH).

In the pharmaceutical sector, these climate chambers are specifically engineered for applications such as stability testing, accelerated aging, shelf-life evaluation, expiration date testing, and packaging assessments. They are built to comply with various standards, including ICH Q1A for stability studies and ICH Q1B for photostability testing.

ICH Test Chambers, in accordance with ICH Q1A guidelines, are used to perform stress testing on pharmaceutical products by controlling parameters such as temperature, humidity, and exposure duration. These tests are essential for determining a product's shelf life also known as the expiration dating period which is the length of time a drug is expected to maintain its approved quality specifications when stored under the conditions specified on its packaging label.

ICH Test Chambers, in line with ICH-Q1B guidelines, are designed to conduct photostability testing, which assesses a product’s resistance to extended exposure to light, particularly sunlight. In addition to controlling temperature, humidity, and exposure duration, these chambers must also be equipped with specialized lighting commonly referred to as ICH lamps to simulate the required light conditions for accurate photostability evaluation.
