The Servo-electromechanical universal testing machine (single-column) is used for mechanical testing of materials, specifically to determine their strength, elasticity, and deformation characteristics. It features a single-column, bench-top frame suitable for tensile, compression, and bending tests on various materials.
It performs standardised tensile, compression, flexural (bending), shear, peel, and other mechanical tests on a wide variety of materials and components. Commonly used in industries such as Automotive, Aerospace, Biomedical, Construction, Textiles and Packaging.
Common Testing Applications:
- Tensile Testing: Measures ultimate tensile strength, elongation, yield.
- Compression Testing: Measures material behaviour under compressive loads.
