The TECO is a rugged and lightweight self contained pile integrity testing system. It is used for checking the integrity of concrete piled foundations

The TECO unit uses solid state memory, and is built for security of data and speed of opera tion. Housed in a tough ABS plastic case and using high quality waterproof connectors, the system can be used in inclement
weather conditions. A handy carry pouch is supplied as standard.

The user friendly menu system guides the operator rapidly and displays data in an easy to comprehend format. The TFT screen is clearly visible in bright daylight, but is also provided with a backlight for night operations if required. Data is transferred to the windows based TEAP analysis so􀅌ware though a USB interface.

This versatile system can be used to test precast concrete, cast in place concrete and timber piles of most dimensions. Typical anomalies that may be located include shaft restraints, Overbreak, Cracks, Reductions
in section and zones of poor quality concrete. The site unit can measure pile length and the user has a choice of filters to suit the application.

Features

  • 300+ piles can be tested per day
  • Handheld, weighs less than 2Kg
  • Storage for over 700 results
  • On site analysis of pile length,
  • Backlight LCD screen for working in dark environments
  • User friendly software for producing reports
  • ICP Accelerometer
  • Operates > 8hrs on full charge
  • Compliant with ASTM D5882
  • Upgradeable to TDR2 system

Software

The TEAP2008 analysis software is supplied as standard. This can tabulate the data and present all response curves for reporting, either individually or up to 8 test results per page.

Response curves can be filtered and exponentially amplified to help detect weak responses from depth, and signal polarity can be reversed to suit the users preference.

  Measurements
Acquisition: 1 channel, 16 bit acquisition at 25Khz sample rate. Pre‐trigger and autoranging gain feature.

Storage: 700+ results, including 3 data sets per pile with full header information-site, pile no, diameter, operator, transducers and date/time stamp.

Auto Numbering; advances pile number 1 digit each test.
Filtering: Choice of slow, medium or fast filters, to suit depth measurement. Signal Velocity: default 4000m/sec, but can be user defined.

TEAP2012 Softare

The TEAP2012 softare is an easy to use platform for analysing results and producing reports. All raw data can be viewed to verify the validity of results.

Polarity of signal can be reversed if required and signal can be exponentially amplified by varying degrees. The T50% value is automatically calculated and displayed. This is the width of the impulse in time at 50% of the maximum velocity.

Any or all of the 3 stored response curves can be selected for the average.

Analysis of pile length can be carried out easily in the velocity analysis viewport. Obvious reflected peaks can be selected and automatically amplified if required. Piles are tabulated and automatically sorted into number order. Test results can then be accessed directly from the table. The user is able to define what variables to include in report tables, select different concrete velocities and save commonly used interpretation comments. Overall site comments can be included with the table and the users own company logo can be stamped on each page.

The print menu enables 4 or 8 plots per page to be presented, and depth scales to be normalised.
