The Extractor consists of a metal pot with a gasket and cover and a mesh basket which is non-corrodible that fits into the pot. When the cover is bolted onto the pot it forms a seal but also has an orifice which accepts the supplied Dean and Stark receiver and reflux condenser (glassware).
